It is with the deepest regret that we advise you that our member

Mike Cottenden

was killed Saturday night, August 9th as he drove home from work at the forces base. He was broadsided by a car running a stop sign.
Last summer Mike had returned to his friends and loved ones after serving a year in Afghanistan with the Canadian military. More recently he had amazingly survived a horrendous fall from a tree he was trimming, a fall that resulted in several broken vertebrae and multiple broken ribs.
Loved by everyone for his hard work and his hilarious sense of humour, Mike is going to be sorely missed. Most especially our deepest sympathy goes out to his better half Nancy Beacon who has been his loving partner and best buddy for so many years. Words are inadequate to describe the loss - We love you Nancy.
